Grapevine Wine Tasting: White Wines from Roussanne, Marsanne or Viognier

This month's tasting will be on the 3rd Wednesday. Bring in your favorite bottle! The Grapevine’s next tasting will be May 18, 2022, at 7pm at the Berkeley City Club. The wine this time will be white wine with any bottling that has a majority of the wine made from Roussanne, Marsanne or Viognier. To be clear we are not looking for wines that have all of these varietals, they only have to have one of them. Blends of these grapes with other white grapes are also welcome. These grapes make up the famous white wines of the Rhone Valley of France, but there are many California versions as well. You will have to dig a little to find a good one, but they can be excellent.
