Oregon mothers want taxpayers to foot the bill

Oregon mother's are urging the state government to spend more tax payer dollars on treatment for drug and alcohol addiction "Victims", why should taxpayers be asked to foot the bill for their lack of parenting and a addiction caused by big pharma and the alcohol industry? Shouldn't our government start forcing these billion dollar businesses to pay for the damage there products are doing to our society? I'd rather my tax dollars pay for fixing all the potholes in my neighborhood.
