STAMFORD, CT — A 21-year-old city man was arrested last Thursday evening on burglary charges, and police said he will face additional charges in connection with other cases this week.
Kymani Robinson was arrested on May 5 at his place of work in the 1200 block of High Ridge Road on a warrant that charges him with third-degree burglary and fourth-degree larceny, according to Capt. Richard Conklin of the Stamford Police Department.
Conklin said the arrest stems from a burglary that took place in early March, in which Robinson entered a building in the 300 block of Glenbrook Road and stole several items from a residence.
Investigators from the SPD's Major Crime Unit, under the supervision of Sgt. Jennifer Lynch, identified Robinson and developed an arrest warrant, and Robinson was taken into custody "without incident," Conklin said.
Officers executed a search warrant on Robinson's car, and "found proceeds from that burglary still in the car," Conklin said.
Robinson was given a court-set bond of $50,000, but he was remanded to custody by his parole officer, Conklin said.
"Robinson is being looked at as a possible suspect in other burglaries in that area and in another jurisdiction," Conklin said. "We anticipate additional charges of a more violent nature to be lodged against him next week."
