Press release from the Town of Wakefield: May 6, 2022 Paving preparations continue next week on Albion Street. Beginning Monday, May 9, a leveling course of asphalt will be added and iron castings will be adjusted within the roadway. The work is scheduled from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, though weather and other factors can impact the speed of construction. Final paving and line striping will occur at a later date. Access to homes and businesses will be provided to the maximum extent possible but please provide more time to enter and egress the area. On-street parking will be limited so as not to obstruct construction vehicles. Curbside trash and recycling should be placed outside by 6 a.m. on residents' typical pick-up day.
