FLORAL PARK, NY — Over 100 students from Sewanhaka High School have been named Advanced Placement Scholars for excelling on their 2020 AP Exams. Five students earned the National AP Scholar Award for receiving an average score of at least 4 on all AP Exams taken, and scores of at least 4 on eight or more exams: Ambia Jamal, Bryan V. Joseph, Rahul Maharjan, Katie R. Montoya and Jordan S. Shamoun. Twenty-seven students earned the AP Scholar with Distinction Award for receiving an average score of at least 3.5 on all AP Exams taken, and scores of at least 3 on five or more of these exams.
