NEW HYDE PARK, NY — A New Hyde Park senior has been accepted into the New York State School Music Association's All-State Symphonic Orchestra. Olivia Wong, a violinist in the New Hyde Park Memorial High School Senior High Orchestra, will participate in a virtual All-State performance in December. To be accepted into the orchestra, Wong received a score of 100 and a grade of A+ on her Level 6 All- State audition last year. In addition to this accomplishment, Wong has been a member of the Nassau All- County Orchestra and the Long Island String Festival Orchestra, as well as the Children's Orchestral Society. She also performed at Carnegie Hall and has played with world-famous soloists, including violinist Ray Chen.
