ARLINGTON, VA — Pentagon security officials gave the all-clear just before 1:15 p.m. Saturday after investigating a suspicious package found at the Pentagon Metro Visitors Screening Center, authorities said. According to the Pentagon Force Protection Agency, officials were alerted to the suspicious package just after 9:45 a.m. An explosive detection unit was called to the scene, authorities said. The incident remains under investigation, authorities said. Bus and rail service has been restored after temporarily bypassing the Pentagon, authorities said.
