High: 72 Low: 43. Here are the top three stories today in Burlington: The Burlington Farmers Market welcomed thousands of residents during its opening weekend. The Burlington Farmers Market is hosting 40 new vendors at the market compared to previous years. The market will remain open until the end of October. (WPTZ)The Burlington Police Department has arrested a 17-year-old in connection with a knife-wielding incident. The department has charged the teen with Aggravated Assault and has cited the individual into Adult Criminal Court. The identity of the suspect has not been released in case the individual gets transferred to juvenile court. (WCAX)Burlington's Pride Center raised $7,500 for its trans-program during its block party. The event occurred on Saturday and featured plant sales, music, and food trucks. This is the second year that the center has hosted its block party.
