French bulldog puppy for rehoming

Description

I was gifted an opportunity to keep a blue cream frenchie puppy alive. I'm a retired ER vet tech. This frenchie was born with a cleft lip. (Not a cleft palet, which is a hole in roof of mouth, this is only a cleft lip. cosmetic only, but puppies born with this affliction cannot form a good seal around the nipple and must be tube fed to stay alive until they are old enough for solid food.) Fabio will be smaller than his siblings but should still hit about 18lbs full grown. He has no other health issues and is not expected to develop any. This purebred, blue-cream frenchie came from a genetically health tested, healthy line, with fabulous everything, however the cleft gene is still hard to remove from the french bulldog, pug, boxer and Boston terriers. His siblings all sold for $5,500. This dog was born on Jan 21 of this year. Fabio is 15 weeks old as of this posting, mothers day, 2022. He is up to date on vaccines, dewormings and is litterbox trained. He has only ever known a good life in a large beautiful home. If you have long wanted a frenchie but cannot afford the usual price and don't care that he does not look perfect, Fabio the hobdoglin might be the frenchie for you. We are located in Gastonia nc. He will not go to just anyone. We need to see as openly where and how you live as we are willing to show where and how he lives. You will need to provide a letter from your vet to show you regularly use a veterinarian. Please note, these are expensive dogs because a lot of time and money goes into creating them and keeping them alive the first few months of life. Fabio is the result of MANY MANY MANY HOURS WEEKS AND DAYS OF TUBE FEEDING, EXCELLENT CARE AND LOVE, NOT TO MENTION HIGH DOLLAR FOOD, AND VETERINARY CARE. HE IS NOT FREE. He has a firm rehoming fee of $x,xxx. If you are shocked at this price please do not contact us but instead research the cost associated with this breed. I have a price quote from an excellent sc vet that will perform the surgery to repair the cleft for under $7xx. His rehoming fee has been reduced more than twice that to cover this fee but please know, this surgery is not necessary. We love Fabio and think his look gives him character. We are in no hurry to rehome him and are more concerned with finding the right family or individual to take him. You can see videos of Fabio and his life on tiktok by following #fabiothehobdoglin
