FLORAL PARK, NY — Firefighters were battling a massive inferno that damaged multiple businesses in Floral Park, according to reports. The blaze broke out around 6:30 a.m. Sunday on Covert Avenue. Photos and video at the scene appeared to show heavy flames and smoke coming out of Park Place, a restaurant that serves French, American and Italian cuisine. More than 100 firefighters from several departments battled the blaze, News 12 Long Island reported.
