HUDSON, FL — As part of an ongoing safety improvement project in the area, a new Beacon Woods Drive roundabout will soon provide drivers access to the Hudson Walmart Supercenter without traveling on U.S. 19. The roundabout is one of several improvements funded by a public-private initiative that Pasco County, Walmart and the Florida Department of Transportation are constructing to provide safer access to the busy store, nearby intersection and surrounding communities. Beacon Woods Drive Safety Improvement Project Details: Reconditioning of Dipaola Drive Additional north/south driveway connections to Walmart Limited right-turn access to Walmart from Beacon Woods Drive set to begin Oct. 28Full roundabout access to Walmart from Beacon Woods scheduled for Nov. 25New traffic signal on U.S. 19 at Beach Boulevard/Dipaola Drive anticipated in the spring Drivers are asked to use caution as crews work to complete the access improvements in time for the busy holiday season.
