Join us for the next workshop in our DIY Herbal Workshop Series, DIY Herb Infused Oils, May 21, 2022 at 1:30pm. Herbal infused oils are one of the most underrated herbal remedies in the world of herbal wellness and it's a wonderful addition to any home apothecary. This is a great opportunity for a limited number of attendees to get hands on instruction from an experienced herbalist to learn how to start preparing your own strong and effective herbal infused oils at home. This workshop is hosted by Seed of Life Herbal Wellness & Education in partnership with The Light-Hearted Yogi. All materials will be provided. What to expect: Discussion of carrier oil options. Explanation of the types of herbs to use and the properties of the herbs that will be supplied. Discussion and demo of various methods for extracting herbal properties in oil. Direction around the many beneficial ways to use an infused herbal oil alone and as an ingredient in other formulas. Get hands on experience starting your own infused oil to take home.Make your own herbal salve with a previously infused oil. What extraction method works best for different herbs. If you prefer to pay at the door please contact us to place a hold on tickets to secure your spot and materials. We'll accept cash or Venmo at the event. NOTE: All necessary equipment and materials will be provided. The studio space we are using has a dance floor installed and requires guests to remove their shoes so feel free to bring a comfy pair of socks or slippers if you do not wish to go barefoot.
