PASCO COUNTY, FL — Ride for free as you make your vote count on Election Day. Pasco County Public Transportation is offering free bus rides to the polls Tuesday, Nov. 3, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. This service to Pasco County voters is made possible by a partnership between PCPT and Pasco County Supervisor of Elections Brian E. Corley. Simply present a valid Voter Information Card to take advantage of this free service. "I'm proud to be part of a cooperative effort that helps the citizens of Pasco County exercise their right to vote," said Supervisor of Elections Brian E. Corley. "Our goal is to ensure access for all voters and free transportation helps make that possible." PCPT's updated bus fleet features air conditioning and complimentary Wi-Fi. All buses undergo frequent cleaning and sanitizing in accordance with Florida Department of Health and CDC best practices. Additionally, both Uber and Lyft are offering discounts on Election Day for voters who need rides to the polls. Uber has added an in-app poll-finding feature and is offering 50 percent off round-trip rides to vote, up to $7 each trip. Lyft is offering 50 percent off one ride to any polling place, up to $10, using the code "2020VOTE."
