NEW PORT RICHEY, FL — The following New Port Richey residents are receiving college diplomas: Tallahassee Community College Tallahassee Community College will recognize more than 3,000 candidates for graduation during the college's commencement ceremony on May 2. The following local students are set to earn their degrees: Alise Singletary of New Port RicheyNeil Gentile of New Port RicheyJamie Rea of New Port Richey University Of Florida Halina Rachel Binder of New Port Richey will graduate from the University of Florida on Saturday May 2. Florida State University Mallory Moore is graduating Summa Cum Laude from Florida State University on May 2. University of South Florida John K. Donovan of New Port Richey will graduate from the University of South Florida on May 9 with a bachelor of science degree in business analytics and information systems. Boise State University Jared Brodd of New Port Richey graduated with an entrepreneurship management bachelor of business degree from Boise State University on May 9. Mars Hill University Mars Hill University of Mars Hill, North Carolina, conferred degrees on 161 graduates at the conclusion of the spring 2020 semester. The university has rescheduled the commencement ceremony for the Class of 2020 for Sunday, Oct. 4 at 2 p.m. Among the graduates are: Salliemae Blethroad of New Port Richey, who received a bachelor of science degree in athletic training.Harrison Keslar of New Port Richey, who received a master of management degree in management.Georgia Tech Marc Kirschner of Holiday has earned a master of science in computer science from the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta. Ohio University David Phillips of Trinity graduated with master of science in recreation and sport sciences from Ohio University in Athens, Ohio. Cloud Country Community CollegeAlizea McClanahan of New Port Richey has completed the requirements for the associate of science degree from Cloud County Community College in Concordia, Kansas. University of UtahMarshall Stitt of New Port Richey graduated from the University of Utah in Salt Lake City, Utah, with a masters of science in nuclear engineering. University of IowaFabio Cunha of Trinity was among the 5,700 students to graduate this spring from the University of Iowa in Iowa City, Iowa. Cunha was student in the graduate management programs whose program of study was professional MBA program. The degree awarded was a master of business administration.
