Blue and Gold Macaw w/cage

Very friendly Blue and Gold macaw. About 10 years old. Was told that it is a male, but not positive about that. Wings have always been clipped so unfortunately he hasn’t had any flight training. Gets along with dogs from small (Mini Dachshund) to large (German Shepherd). Hasn’t been around another parrot so I don’t know how he would react, but he used to hang out with ducks. Very chatty. Always greets with a “hello" and likes to tell my dogs to "shut up". He also rats them out when they snoop around his cage for food - "get outta there". Surprisingly quiet and doesn’t screech much. Not a fan of getting his nails trimmed but will tolerate it with extreme bribery, preferably a Dorito. Comes with a very large cage with all his perches and toys. I am his 3rd owner. His first owner raised him and took great care of him for several years. Second owner was a relative of mine that didn’t take the best care of him and I don’t think they ever let him out. They passed away and I was the only one that could take him in. I have had him for about 2 years and worked on improving his health and well-being by getting him a properly sized cage, resocializing him and regrowing his feathers (he was missing a small section at the time) so now it is time for him to have a permanent home. I would have liked to keep him, but I have never wanted a parrot. Just not a bird person. I don’t like children and a bird is like having a toddler for the next 30 years. Not a good match for me.
