ROCKLAND COUNTY, NY — Rockland County's death toll from COVID-19 reached 745 as of Monday, health department officials reported.
So far in December, 46 people have died of the disease caused by the coronavirus, according to the county. The death toll was 699 at the end of November and 714 as of Dec. 9. Another 31 people have died since then.
Rockland County has recorded COVID-19 deaths almost daily since Thanksgiving. (Rockland County) The county was tracking 2,056 active cases of coronavirus as of Monday.
Rockland's test positivity rate continues to be in line with the rest of the Hudson region.
