TUSCALOOSA, AL — A single-vehicle crash early Saturday morning on Tannehill Parkway resulted in the death of a McCalla man, the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA) has confirmed. Click here to subscribe to our free daily newsletter and breaking news alerts. ALEA says the wreck occurred at approximately 3:44 a.m. when a 1998 Ford F-150 driven by Jackie L. George, 33, left the roadway, struck a utility pole and overturned. George was pronounced dead at the scene, which was roughly three miles east of the Town of Woodstock in Tuscaloosa County.
