Rental Home Management- Need people who are handy or willing to learn and comfortable working independently Before you continue to read…Must have a car and live in the area (North lake Tahoe, Truckee area. Reno and Carson City may apply as well but only if you are sure you can commit to driving a lot each day as milage does not get reimbursed until you hit your first house or our office) This Job does require a lot of driving in your own vehicle, we pay.68 cents a mile (ten cents more over standard). Starting $22.00 dollars an hour We are looking for either seasonal or full time with the opportunity for advancement and full time year round after 3 months which includes paid time off, full benefits and sick pay (for full time only). Our team takes care of homes in the area that are involved in short term rentals. You would be responsible for going into the home before a guest or owner arrival and making sure it looks clean, that nothing is broken, and preparing it for an owner or guest arrival. We are especially looking for someone who is good with home maintenance and very handy. Your job ensures that the homes are ready to go, clean, maintained and inviting to guests. This includes duty’s such as replacing light bulbs, making sure the TV’s are not missing remotes or remotes are not missing batteries, checking that internet is on, staging the home beautifully before a guest arrives, inspecting the clean job and cleaning up what may have been missed, checking under beds, making sure kitchens look organized, checking carpets for spots or stains (then in some cases using our carpet cleaner to clean it up), sometimes sweeping or blowing decks and driveways, collecting extra trash if left behind in garages, making sure the home has all the supplies needed, and more. Responsible for walking through homes to make sure that any maintenance issues are addressed. Provide important feedback about the status and quality of homes to your team members so that issues get addressed. Document any damages through homes after guest checkouts, have the ability to schedules outside vendors or takes care of it yourself. You will need to have the ability to drive to a list of homes each day and the ability to bring with you our supplies on hand in case needed (such as extra hand soaps, paper towels, toilet paper, batteries, tools, trash bags …etc.) You must be comfortable working alone as this is a very independent role, and comfortable reaching out to team members on cell phone or group chats for help, or who may need help. We use our phones a lot to communicate with one another, take pictures of issues or damages, and to document our work for the day. A company I-pad is available as well if not able to use personal cell phone. If you are handy then that’s a plus as we sometimes need to be able to fix a mild leak, a running toilet, a dirty hot tub, use a screw gun and as you can imagine anything else that could go wrong in a home. If you are able to use google or youtube to learn a solution to a specific problem that may arise then that’s a plus too! If you have experience in hospitality and understand what people look for when they check into a home for the first time, then you may be a great fit! We are a friendly, laid back team that works together. We are looking for a good fit with someone that will go "above and beyond" - looking for a like minded team player with no drama.
