Driven Crazy, a new high energy, rock n roll show band is looking for a guitarist. Male or Female, whoever has what we need is who we want. This is a mostly originals band, but with a handful of covers for venues that prefer a cover band. To give you an example of style, the covers for the audition are: Crazy On You – Heart, Hit Me With Your Best Shot – Pat Benatar, Piece of Mind - Boston There are some originals ready to go, but it’s important for the band to find its own voice, one that reflects the totality of the members. Some rehearsals will be dedicated to just getting together and writing originals, so that all our individual styles can be combined into one unique synergistic sound. Personnel: Female Lead singer Guitar (that’s you) Keytar synthesizer/Guitar (that’s me) Bass Drums The three tenets of the band are: • Solid musicianship – Our members have got to be able to play well consistently. • Showmanship – Who wants to see a band that stands around like a bunch of carboard cutouts, acting like the audience is just blessed to be in their presence? Not us, we move, we groove, we put on a show! • FUN! – The crowd’s having fun, the band’s having fun, what could be better? What we want: • A guitarist with solid lead and rhythm chops with a good sense of time. Someone who’s willing to go wireless on stage and put their all into the show.
