MUST PREREGISTER at plasticclub.org under Special Workshops as CLASS SIZE IS LIMITED. In this workshop, you will be using your own words and making shapes to explore a theme important to you. Canvases will be painted using acrylics, torn into strips and then woven. The strips will be adhered into a permanent piece or left loose to be reconfigured like a puzzle. Let's have some fun! Materials Fee: $10.00 We supply: print paper to cover the tables and for use in brainstorming your ideas and shapes, supplemental paints and some small brushes for common use. You will supply: 3-5 acrylic paints (your favorite colors) small brushes to paint your words on one of the canvas panels a roll of paper towels 2 containers to hold water (yogurt or nut containers) plastic gloves if you use those to keep your hands clean soap to clean your brushes.
