*Please stop flagging this post. I have the discernment, experience and patience to re-home my dog with full vetting and multiple home visits. Rescue groups do not have my resources to guarantee a successful adoption. My 8 yr old Havanese poodle is healthy and hypoallergenic (does not shed). He is very loving to the people he chooses to bond with, such as our core family. Unfortunately, he will not tolerate our grandparents. - He will bite strangers and other animals out of fear and defense. Anything foreign is a threat. - Hard to find dog sitters because he will bite strangers. - Needs an owner who knows how to bond with a fearful, anxious rescue dog. - He likes calm energy. Will lie at your feet and follow you around. - If you live in an apt, he needs to be carried outside to do his business or else will pee as soon as he leaves the apt, in the hallway. Luckily he’s only 13 lbs. - He goes out every 6 hrs to relieve himself for 3 mins. Does not like walks. Just hangs out indoors. - Barks when someone comes to the door, but does not yap all day. - Does not chew or destroy things. No other bad habits. - Up to date on vaccines. Neutered and chipped. - Eats prescription dog food to decrease chance of bladder stones. No other health issues. *Nothing wrong with his tongue. It's just a funny pic of him licking his face.* Please do not apply if you cannot take time to bond with this dog.
