Andy's Sprinklers is seeking an energetic, motivated, and positive person to fill our available Irrigation Service Technician position. The Service Technician position requires the technician to be capable of installing, operating, and maintaining many types of irrigation, drainage and low-voltage landscape lighting. The Service Technician will work hand in hand with the customer and management to accomplish daily service requests with customer service and quality as the #1 task, along with professionalism, honesty, ethics, integrity, care, friendliness, and individual pride. Andy’s Sprinkler offers in-house industry training and licensing. A valid driver’s license is required. Bi-lingual in Spanish is a plus. Essential Functions • Strong customer service skills. • A positive/optimistic attitude, great team member. • Able to communicate with customers and co-workers to build trust and value. • Be on time and dependable. • Able to effectively and efficiently manage a crew of 1-4 employees to complete projects in the allotted time. • Verifies that tools and parts are complete and in good working condition on truck. • Troubleshoots underground automatic Sprinkler/ Irrigation Systems, Landscape Lighting, and Drainage. • Ability to effectively communicate, present information, and respond to questions, both verbal and written, regarding irrigation, lighting, and drainage. • Performs repairs to our high-quality standards. • Cleans job site and makes sure that customer is 100% satisfied. Work Environment Service Technician’s work full time and do physically demanding work most of the time outdoors in all weather conditions. Position Type and Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position. Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. – until the project is completed.
