Andy’s Sprinkler, Drainage and Lighting has an immediate opening for an assistant irrigation technician in Houston. Ideal candidate qualities include: • Experience in irrigation services as an assistant (a plus, but not required; we will train the right candidates) • A solid work ethic and desire to exceed expectations • Reliable and honest • Project a professional image • Positive attitude Job Requirements Include: • Responsibility for the organization and up-keep of tools, parts, and work vehicle • Assist with the repair and maintenance of automatic irrigation systems, outdoor drainage, and landscape lighting Physical Demands: Technicians must be able to bend, crouch, and navigate various terrain and trenches, frequently move supplies up to 75 pounds, tolerate outdoor temperatures (especially the Texas heat) and sun exposure, and operate all tools and machinery required or each job. Proper physical conditioning is critical to an Assistant Technician’s success and well being.
