Hello, do you have a bird you can no longer care for or just don’t have time anymore? Or are you overwhelmed by the bird or other circumstances in your life. I can take in unwanted birds and birds that owners are no longer able to care for. There is no judgment on my part ever. I just appreciate it when people are able to realize when they are overwhelmed before it becomes a bad situation. But I will even do what I can when a situation has already become less than optimal. Just know I am here to help, not judge. I will try and help out in anyway that I can, even if I am not taking the bird. I have worked with veterinarians quite a bit in the past. I am comfortable with taking in or helping out however I can with birds that are medically complex too. I do have some spare cages, stands and a large bird aviary that I have plenty of space to take in birds. I have some spare supplies but if birds come with supplies and/or their cage it would be perfect! I’m currently taking in small to large birds. My main focus is the large birds, but I will take in smaller birds too. I will not take in more birds than I can take proper care of, or have the resources to take care of. I have 20+ years of experience with my own birds and working at large aviaries. I feed some seed, a lot of chop (cut cup greens, fruit and vegetables, and zoopreem) I also understand the dietary requirements of other types of birds ie lories, lorikeets, etc... I can safely work with both tame and untamed birds. If you have any questions I would be happy to answer them. I will also pay a small rehoming fee to show that the birds will be very well taken care of. Also any birds given to or adopted by me will not be sold, adopted out, or bred. I do not break up bonded pairs either. If you wish I can keep everyone updated on how they are doing, just let me know if you’d like updates. Texting is the best way to reach me I am located in north Phoenix, but head that way regularly (I grew up there and we still have the majority of our family out there), so coming to meet you and also then take bird home will be no problem. I truly strive to always do the best I can for the birds. They are the number one important thing, and we will do all we can to make the travel and entire transition as low stress as we can for them.
