My love, how I wish this all would stop. I wish our love was stronger and could keep us together, but I felt you slipping away. 22 years wasn't long enough for me, I wanted eternity. We were supposed to grow together, not grow apart. I'm proud of how you learned more independence, but I don't love how you learned to stop loving me. If only we both still wanted the same life, but learning that people change, and I can't force someone to understand or even try again has been the biggest battle inside me. You didn't see it, but In my head I gave it my best and realize now I could have given you so much more. I love you, I will always love you, my lil butterfly.
