Hi, Jake is a neutered 135 pound Brindle Cane Corso or Italian Mastiff. He is a super cool dog. He is almost 3. We moved from the farm to town and Jake is not adjusting well. He is most recently getting over a broken leg and subsequent surgery. We are really attached to this guy and will not give him up until we know he is going to the country to a super home. He is chipped. This dog is part of the family he cannot be left continuously alone. Yes, he is a good guard dog. We have a cat and poodle and they all get along. Jake does defend the food dish around other dogs, growling. He loves tug a war with a big rope and always packs a toy. Jake has never been around youngsters. He needs a firm boss cause he will rule the house if given the chance.
