In January 2017, or the last 20 days of Barrack Obama's presidency, the U.S. unemployment rate was 4.7%. Just 30 months later under the twice impeached, multiple times accused rapists, and serial non-payer Donald Trump, the U.S. unemployment rate held at 14.7%. 1 in 3 small businesses would either be liquidated or forced into reorganization under the federal Bankruptcy Laws. The wall on the southern border with Mexico Mr. Trump used to convince 77778 voters in Pennsylvania, Michigan and Wisconsin - a wall he promised would be paid for by the Mexican government- only completed 458 miles...less than 1/4 promised by Trump. The $15 billion dollars spent on it came mostly from housing allocations for military housing. Mexico paid ZERO and the men and women who make up our armed forces paid the rest. Shame. Under the 2017 Tax bill Trump signed into law, the highest tax rates for those earning in excess of $518400 was dro[pped from 39% to 37%. Under the law as signed, deductions for middle to upper middle income earners were eliminated while upper and ultra high earners saw numerous deductions increased or outright created. This law allows people like Jeff Bezos and Bill Gates to pay a lower portion of their income in taxes than the barista at Starbucks or the hamburger flipper and your Mickey D's. That's Trump modus operedi: "screw everyone except me!" And I have even touched foreign policy, the environment, healthcare or education...so I'll stop there. As always, FDT
