We are celebrating Checkerspot Brewing's 5th Birthday and Father's Day with headliner Chris Lawrence Show Time is 8:00PM. Show seating will begin at 7PM. The brewery opens at noon on Saturdays. #FREEPARKING Food service (is incredible) and full drinks service is available. No Outside Food or Drink! Tickets are $15 in advance (until June 17th at 11:59PM) or can be purchased at the door for $20.* Headliner: Chris Lawrence is a Baltimore-area comedian who has been entertaining crowds off and on for 20 years. He has performed at clubs and venues all over the country. His act focuses on his foibles as he lives his days as a husband and dad. You'll hear reflections on his misteps with a heavy dose of pop-culture references.Chris can be seen on Amazon Prime's Debate Night: A Quarantine Comedy portraying Senators Bernie Sanders and Lindsay Graham.He has shared the stage with modern comedy legend Brian Regan as well as Chris Distefano, Dom Irera, Jimmy Walker, Chris Franjola, Steve Rannazzisi, Angel Salazar, and the late Dustin Diamond. Very Special Guest: Wendi Townsend from 98 Rock. She started as an intern for the 98 Rock Morning Show with Justin, Scott & Spiegel. From there, she was hired to be the Assistant Producer for the morning show and didn’t have any plans for stopping. She then was promoted to On-Air personality, doing weekends and filling in. She’s now the host of 98 At Night and loves every minute of it! Wendi is a home-grown Baltimore girl who is, of course, a huge Ravens and Orioles fan. As she always says, she “eats, sleeps and breathes this town!”Wendi is a regional headlining comedian and her personality On-Air proves that quite often. Shawn Leverett is a Baltimore based comedian who has preformed at clubs and colleges all across the country. He’s most recently opened for names like Ms. Pat and Big Jay Oakerson. Katie McKelvie Backfield is a comedian and humor writer whose comedic style has been described as "tired mom who has to run to the grocery store after this show to pick up some bananas."Katie can be seen performing all over the Washington, D.C. area and has featured at the Cleveland Comedy Festival, She-Devil Comedy Festival, the Charm City Comedy Festival, and the North Carolina Comedy Festival. katiemckelvie.com Ronald James is a very brand new dad and the co-host of the podcast Movie Schmovie. Host: Erin Patrick is an extremely energetic comic. He hosts his own comedy show called One More Dad Joke and has performed on ABC’s Baltimore Loves Talent and the Ellicott Silly Comedy Festival. He is also a regular performer AND host at the Lou Costello Room in Baltimore, MD. When Erin is not spending time with his family he is on stage telling hilarious stories about them.
