Looking for a lot but want to see who is out there! Bassist looking to create an early heavy metal style band for the purposes of playing out (mostly covers). Think that it would go over well and there’d be lots of work. Twin guitars for unison would be nice, keys capable of good organ sounds really important. A good vocalist/ we figure something out among players. And we can be as good as our drummer of course. Thinking from Sabbath, Blue Cheer, Deep Purple to Zeppelin, Hendrix. Venturing out to some jam bands like the Allmans and Dead. Newer artists that fit the bill. Not looking to be band leader- looking to assemble and figure out what we want to do. Don’t care about age- looking for musicians who have their stuff (gear and otherwise) and can be dedicated to whatever we work out as a group. Start with jamming and then see.
