The people who don't need it and have never needed it don't have any idea. Most of the time it's something that will never be acknowledged. You'll never get justice for it. We never get justice for most things and you don't have to entertain those that want to pretend we do. When you know what the score is, you know what the score is. It's going to be hard to stay focused on the first things that are worth tearing down and that's what it's all about. No one's going to be able to tell you better than you can figure out for yourself how you can swat your flies, cut out your noise, and choose your battles. The shift you want is one that calls you to be disruptive, to radiate instability, and to disregard the tone policing voices imagining themselves as anything more than puppets of the master extortionists. It's not that universal symbol of the thing in question is unattainable or uniformly absent - it's that the spirit of our times is bent on its erosion. You know that and you can't allow yourself to be gaslit about it, though you may have to find cryptic means of maintaining your agency. For now just think about how you know what it's like seeing someone else get that Care. You may never be able to tell when anything is real or fake. It's all just as good as something written on paper that crumbles away in time. I'm not telling you that none of the battles are worth it, just that it will help you to self-alleviate if you can remember this in the meantime. None of this is normal. Don't let anyone tell you that it is.
