Mindset 2022 is an interactive conference for teens to explore exciting new wellness and mental health strategies!
Following the pandemic, we are more aware of our mental health than ever before, yet teens are still lost in a sea of mainstream content that they don’t connect with. Teen mental health is one of the most significant issues of our time, and we want to talk about it in a way that works. We are Sacramento Youth Mental Health and our teen-led organization is holding an event on June 11th at the Tsakopoulos Library Galleria that will focus on creating a space for teens to talk to teens about mental health. We hope to start a conversation that empowers teens to talk about mental health and be aware of the resources available to them. In this event, our team will focus discussions and activities around mental health and media, navigating relationships and helping friends, and connecting kids with resources and strategies to cope with crisis.
Registration is free to all. The event will go from 10 am - 2:30 pm, and snacks and refreshments will be provided. Complementary SacYMH merchandise and personalized journals will be available! Visit sacymh.org for more information and follow us on instagram @sacymh for updates. Please feel free to email [email protected] or message us on social media if you have any questions, concerns, or you want to be involved for future events. We are happy to accommodate your needs and look forward to seeing you at the event!
This program is funded by the Division of Behavioral Health Services through the voter-approved Proposition 63, Mental Health Services Act (MHSA)
