On Thursday, May 19th, the Indo-American Center & the Asian Health Coalition will partner to provide a community-wide Hepatitis B screening.
1 in 2 Asian Americans is infected with Hepatitis B and are not aware of it. Hepatitis B is dangerous because there are no warning signs and often there are no symptoms. If left untreated, Hepatitis B can lead to even more serious conditions, such as liver cancer. Are you living with Hepatitis B? Get tested to find out.
Please bring a photo ID (Passport, Drivers License, State ID, or City Key)
Anyone over the age of 18, regardless of nationality, insurance coverage, or immigration status, including undocumented immigrants, is eligible for the screening.
