The Carolina Pig Jig is a BBQ cook-off with 25 teams competing to smoke the tastiest, award-winning pork barbecue and chicken. Even better, the event is open to the public to sample all-you-can-eat BBQ, sides, and more as well as cast a vote for your favorite team! The best part is this is a charity event and ALL proceeds go to charity.The event is held in conjunction with the "Got to Be NC" Festival at the North Carolina State Fairgrounds. Admission to "Got to Be NC" is Free and the pig Jig is in the back of the event beside the Expo Center.FAQs What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event? There is ample parking at the "Got to Be NC" Festival as provided by the Fairgrounds.   How can I contact the organizer with any questions? All proceeds go to charity. If you purchase a ticket and are unable to attend, rest assured that your donation goes to a good cause.  Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event? Yes, please print and bring your ticket to the event.   Is my registration fee or ticket transferrable? Tickets are transferrable. We do not verify identification of the ticket holder at the gate.
