$10 Debt Leads To 28-Year-Old's Death: Report

MIAMI, FL — A 28-year-old man was shot and killed outside a Miami gas station early Sunday morning, Local 10 reported. The shooting took place at the Chevron station at NW 79th Street in the Little River neighborhood. Though police haven't released the victim's name, his girlfriend, Nicole Marks, identified him as Kwakiutl Belizaire, reports said. He died in her arms and was pronounced dead at the scene by Miami Fire Rescue. "I was holding the hole. He had a big hole in his chest," Marks told Local 10. She also said that she believes he was killed over a $10 debt from a couple of years ago, reports said. Police are continuing to investigate the shooting.
