For Seniors & Caregivers--Come enjoy an outdoor experience that will delight all your senses & promote wellness, plus much more. Nature's positive impact on our wellbeing is a well known fact. More research is supporting the benefits of nature for our wellness, particularly for those with special needs. This event, especially curated for our Elders. This experience harnesses the power of nature, our senses & nervous system to provide a unique experience ranging from soothing to stimulating. Come see, hear, smell, touch, taste and move through a uniquely designed garden with specialized facilitators. What our participants can expect Discover how what you see, smell, taste, touch, hear impacts your nervous system Connect with nature using mindfulness techniques for overall mental health Engage the senses to activate memory and cognition Gather with like minded people and build community Learn about resources in Chino Hills for Seniors Special Guests Include Nicole Cloeren-Master Puppeteer from Puppets-a-la-Carte sharing Lunar Year Story and 20 person dragon puppet. Sergio Robleto-Up and coming local muralist doing live artwork. YogaSix of Chino Hills-Leading us through a sensory yoga experience accessible to all House of Pistachios-Serving snacks This is an event brought to you by a grant provided by the HUD funds from the City Chino Hills and community sponsor, especially for adults with disability residing in Chino Hills.
