Save Your Spaces Preservation Festival will host a festival to share ways to protect and share our collective heritage. Save Your Spaces Preservation Festival This is geared to educate, inspire, and activate the everyday comunity memeber to get involved in cultural heritage and historic preservation. This festival will allow for the critical work of including residents, those with lived experiences with a variety of ways to documentation, remembering, and archiving history, our collective heritage. The festival centers on histories of Black, Indigenous, People of Color (BIPOC), LGBTQAI+, womxn, immigrant, and working-class community members as heritage is being lost to globalized development, growth, displacement, and expansion to spaces once left untouched because of (de facto) segregation and redlining. There are two parts of the festival: During the day, there will be panels, workshops, and talks will be held at The Ke'nekt, 1492 Ralph David Abernathy Blvd Suite A, Atlanta, GA 30310 During the evening, there will be film screenings and panel discussions with local filmmakers held at Create ATL, 900 Murphy Ave SW, Atlanta, GA 30310
