Boost your creativity AND confidence in the kitchen at our hands-on baking workshops! Learn the secrets of our cheerful cherry heart cookies! Make tender, crumbly butter cookies and barely cherry cream cheese icing from scratch ... and take home what you make! What will I learn in this class? You'll learn how to create a delicious and versatile butter cookie dough that can be adapted for endless variations AND how to make a lovely flavored cream cheese icing. You'll also learn baking tips that can be applied to other recipes, how the ingredients work, and more. No prior baking experience needed. Adults only please (age 15+). Stand mixers will be used; check out this tutorial video if you're a mixer newbie! +++++ ABOUT MUDDY'S HANDS-ON BAKING CLASSES Muddy's hands-on baking classes are in-depth AND fun! Class sizes are small so students have ample opportunity for guidance & questions. Your instructor will demonstrate every step of the recipe and be available as you try each step yourself. You will have your own work table and will complete the entire recipe... and of course, you'll leave with your goodies! ***Mask must be worn throughout event. If you show proof of vaccination + booster, you may opt to remove your mask.*** Who should participate? Anyone age 15+ who is looking to learn, wants to have fun, or just enjoys baking in company. (We occasionally offer youth classes and "buddy" classes where parent & child bake together- these will be clearly noted in the class title/description). Are classes wheelchair accessible? All our student tables are height-adjustable, so if you need special accommodations, just let us know ahead of time and we'll be sure to have the table and your spot all ready for you! What about cancellations/refunds? Classes are small and space is extremely limited, so all ticket sales are final. Please check the date and time carefully before booking.
