The Shojaee Foundation presents a Persian Classical Music Performance featuring the well-known female vocalist, Mojgan Shajarian. The Shojaee Foundation presents a Persian Classical Music Performance featuring the well-known female vocalist, Mojgan Shajarian, in collaboration with the Sorvad Ensemble and master percussionist, Pejman Hadadi.  Mojgan Shajarian will give voice to Persian poems by Rumi and Hafiz. The masterful colorization of the rhythmic compositions by Pejman Hadadi will allow the audience to enter a dynamic world of Persian rhythmic patterns. Original compositions by Behfar Bahadoran and Sirvan Manhoobi are inspired by the Persian traditional repertoire (Radif) and regional folk music of Iran. Sorvad’s virtuoso instrumentalists will bring forth the exciting aspects of Iranian music. The Shojaee Foundation is committed to keeping the Persian culture alive through shared experiences within our community.
