Norway House members are invited for a special breakfast series in the Kaffebar every month! Enjoy a complimentary open-faced sandwich bar, get your 9am "kaffe" fix, and peruse the current exhibition gallery before Norway House opens up for the day. This exclusive Norway House member event aims to provide a social platform for supporters of Norway House and Norwegian culture to meet in the spirit of community and the opportunity to share a unique and tasty piece of Nordic culture. The capacity for this event is limited to 24 guests, so RSVP as soon as possible! Admission is restricted to Norway House members. Members are welcome to invite a friend or acquaintance as a prospective members. Simply purchase the $5.00 "Friend" ticket for your buddy! In the Gallery will be the exhibit Terje Lundaas: Hot Glass Design. Lundaas, who was born in Norway and resides and works in Miami, is a strong supporter of the Norwegian community in America. In his curated exhibit for Norway House, Lundaas is showing quite a few pieces of new work, including glass sculpture and blown pieces. All work is for sale, and a portion of the proceeds will support Norway House. Terje Lundaas’ work is often inspired by the tropical colors of the Caribbean, a welcome shift as we welcome the warmer weather.
