Newborn, Mother Missing From Middletown

MIDDLETOWN, CT — Police have issued a Silver Alert for a 3-week-old baby who is missing from Middletown. Middletown police said Friday night that they are also trying to find Bridgette Wood. Wood, 33, is approximately 5 feet, 4 inches tall and weighs 140 pounds. She was last seen wearing a brown shirt and a gray hoodie. Police are also looking for Zion Gonzalez, a 3-week-old boy who weighs around 5 to 6 pounds, according to police. Gonzalez is expected to be with his mother, Wood. A photo wasn't provided for Gonzalez. Police said both were last seen around 3 p.m. in the area of Eastern Drive in Middletown on Friday.
