Experienced sewing students will make pajama shorts, capris or long PJ pants PLEASE READ CAREFULLY ALWAYS bring the foot pedal and owners manual as well as the machine and all of the sewing machine accessories that came with your machine! You won't be able to participate without all 3 items. For this class, there is nothing else to bring. This class is for students who have participated in classes with me and who can independently sew. The reason for this is that if you don't finish in 4 days, you will need to finish at home. If you aren't to this level yet, there is a more basic class (Beginners 3 Projects) that you can take to develop your skills. Independent sewers are recognized in this way: Able to set up their machine, wind a bobbin and thread the upper thread Use their machine AT HOME, other than in class Able to sew a 5/8 or 1/2 inch seam allowance MOST of the time Dates and time: Monday through Thursday, May 6-9 from 9 AM to 2 PM. Any time that you miss can't be made up or rescheduled. Class description: This class will lean how to use a commercial sewing pattern to create pajama bottoms (either shorts, capris or long). During the class we will cover how to layout and pin your pattern, how to cut and sew the seams; how to insert elastic in a casing and finally how to hem the leg bottom. Class fee of $150 covers the pattern, fabric, elastic, thread (approximately $45 value) and use of my personal sewing tools along with a light lunch and drink. Due to space limitations, only 4 students are in the class. I need at least 3 students to register otherwise class will be rescheduled or cancelled. NO SPACES ARE HELD TO WAIT FOR PAYMENT.
