MOUNT VERNON, NY — The left lane will close on the eastbound Cross County Parkway in Mount Vernon between 9 p.m. and 2 a.m. Thursday for road maintenance. The work in the area of Exit 8 (Route 22) will include roadway joint repairs, weather permitting. The New York State Department of Transportation advises motorists to anticipate delays and plan accordingly. Remember, slow down and drive responsibly in work zones.
