Here are the top three stories today in Atlanta: A severe storm hit the Atlanta area on Friday. The storm brought damaging winds, hail, and a tornado watch. A significant amount of Atlanta residents lost power near Hickory Flat and Free Home. The storm brought down power lines and some local trees. (11 Alive)The Atlanta Police Department is investigating the death of a 19-year-old outside a fire station on Fairburn Road. The department responded to the area after reports were issued about shots being fired. Officers located the man in a car parked in the station's driveway with multiple gunshot wounds. (FOX 5 Atlanta)Project Q Atlanta has announced it will be going on a hiatus. The website provided the Atlanta area with a "hyper-local queer media diet" over the last fourteen years of publication.
