PALMERS PRO SERVICES IS HIRING FOR A PAINT & LANDSCAPE LABORER! Why work for us? 1. To be active, enjoying working outdoors with your hands. 2. JOB DETAILS: The majority of the time, you will be working under our lead painter, helping him with interior and exterior painting jobs on residential properties. When there is not a paint job for you to help with, you will also be trained in various aspects of landscaping and lawn care (like shrub and tree trimming, fertilizing, maintaining equipment, laying sod, spreading bark, etc). We will provide all on the job training. Our ideal employee will have - an eye for detail - a sense of urgency while working - the ability to understand instruction and take critique with a positive attitude JOB REQUIREMENTS: - Ability to lift 80 lbs - Ability to work outdoors in inclement weather - Ability to work on ladders up to 20 feet - Available from 7:00am-5:00pm Monday through Friday (however, most work days will only be 8 hours - we try to start earlier when the weather gets hot) - 18+ with a valid drivers license - Transportation to and from company headquarters near the Spokane airport We require a pre-employment drug test. Cost must be covered by the applicant, with reimbursement from the company after a clean report. Drug test 3. One day paid working interview at $15/hr 4. Pay will start at $17/hr with opportunities for raises 5. 2nd year of employment – 3 days paid time off 6. 3rd year of employment – 5 days paid time off Benefits: - Company matching 3% Simple IRA - Accrue sick leave at 1 hour for every 40 hours worked.
