I would buy energy drinks and a few chocolates, sometimes a pack of American Spirits every Wednesday thru Saturday before going into work from 20 to 21. You were such a grounding and positive part of every workday. You would tell me about your life, kids & church. You would always reinforce I was doing good at the shelter I worked at and you treated everyone that walked through the door with dignity and patience. I left for rehab that winter and you noticed and were so supportive. I needed that. When you left last spring of 2021 for something better, I wrote you a card but by the time I returned, it was too late. Thank you. Thank you so much.
