Parakeet Communities, LLC is a National Real Estate Investment Company which specializes in manufactured housing communities. We are seeking a Maintenance Technician in the Daytona area. This position will be responsible for multi-site maintenance. Travel will be required. Pay : Starts at $18.00 and up per hour based on experience KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS: Demonstrates success in meeting aggressive timelines Handling emergencies after hours and on weekends as needed Experience/hands on knowledge of small construction projects, sewer back-ups and water main breaks Knowledge/Skills in the following areas: Landscaping-Basic grounds keeping, tree pruning. General Property Maintenance Construction (painting, drywall- plumbing a plus). Ability to operate mowers and heavy equipment Daily clean up of communities to ensure all debris/trash is picked up and the community is clean Resolve all safety issues Able to work in a structured environment where goals are met Walk through inventory homes weekly. Conduct work in homes as needed for light construction. REQUIREMENTS: 3-5 years doing landscaping and property/commercial maintenance Must have good written and verbal communication skills Flexibility to travel between communities and work weekends as needed Be available and flexible to attend meetings as needed Ideal candidates are passionate, self-motivated and driven.
