Just how much of someone else's money do democrats think they're owed? I keep hearing the whining about the top 1% NOT paying their fair share. Really? According to taxfoundation.org, the top 1% account for over 40% of the tax revenue in this country. The problem isn't that the wealthy aren't paying "their fair share" as they most certainly are. The real problem is the tax and spend democrats that continue to "grow" the government. There are more than seventeen "alphabet agencies" (CIA, FBI, DEA, DNS, ATF etc.) alone! How many billions of taxpayer's dollars are handed out to other countries? How much is wasted on stupid shit like "gender studies" in Pakistan? While thousands of our American veterans are homeless and starving on the streets, we pay millions to house/feed those that have illegally entered this country. The reality is that there has been plenty of tax revenue. The problem is with a government that continues to spend that money in a frivolous manner. The hundreds of millions the government wasted for "covid relief" went to line the pockets of politicians. The government COULD have sent EVERY AMERICAN a million dollars and spent less money. Of course they wouldn't have gotten their kickbacks that way. Dip shits like "Idiot Inslee" spent well over sixty thousand tax dollars to paint rainbow crosswalks in Seattle. That money would have been better spent fixing the damn pot holes. My car's suspension would rather have the holes fixed than to have pretty crosswalks. Instead of whining about the 1% not paying more taxes, how about we hold our politicians accountable for the way they spend OUR money. Just for the record, I am not in that 1% category. Not by a long shot. However, I certainly don't let my jealousy of the wealthy cloud the reality of our growing deficit and who is responsible for it.
