Looking to start a modern reggae rock band. Along the lines of Stick Figure, Iya Terra, The Movement, SOJA, Fortunate Youth, Slightly Stoopid, Rebelution etc. Open to blending styles with hip hop, funk, blues, jam band stuff as well. Let's bring the Irie vibes to Denver and beyond! I'm a singer/ songwriter and guitarist, have professional gear and a driven attitude towards music, although I like to kick it and vibe with the band too. I'm in my early 20s, looking for people in a similar age range. Trying to start a group with like minded musicians who want to go the distance. Think rehersals once or twice a week, playing shows, consistently recording, and eventually touring. I have a bunch of songs and ideas ready to play live and record, but want to make songwriting collaborative as well. Hoping to find a solid rhythm section, drums and bass maybe aux percussion, and a keys player that can nail the bubble reggae sound/ dub fx.
