We are looking to rehome our blue heeler. He is 6 years old (DOB: May 15) up to date on shots/ medical health. He is fixed male. We have had him for all 6 years so we have all records. We are rehoming due to having a baby and not having the time to spend with him. He is EXTREMELY intelligent. Highly trainable. He is somewhat vocal so at times he can whine (only when if he wants to play/ needs attention or if he wants to eat) and barks to alert ( mailman at the door or someone new in close proximity). He is a cuddly guy and loves to be around people. He generally sleeps in the day. He loves swimming and is constantly in our pool. His physical abilities are incredible: backflips, herding cattle, running/ agility, dock diving, and so much more. I am sure with more training he would even be more amazing! Full disclosure- He is not dog friendly and not leash trained. He needs space and a yard- A MUST! He loves to run and be active. He loves fetch and paying ball. He is not a dog for an apartment. He is ok with children and has been around kids before and no issues there. He does need to be played with frequently. He should not be in a home with other dogs. Free to good home. Must prove you have a yard and can take good care of him. He is our baby and we will be missing him. But he needs more from his family. Must be able to meet locally. No scams and no shipping. Please don’t waste our time.
