Somebody hit my building with her car. The insurance company wants me to hire the contractor. We will pay out of pocket and be reimbursed by the insurance company, so you do not have to deal with them or wait to be paid. However, you do need to be prepared to provide anything the insurance company requests, which includes at this time a written estimate. There is structural damage to the building. At a minimum one two by four is broken, and the building is two stories so it supports the upper story. You must be qualified to deal with this structural damage.
